House Beautification Day

On Friday May 26th, Staff representing all four of Ten Sixteen Recovery Network locations decended on the 1016 House located at 1016 Eastman Ave in Midland for a day of hardwork and fun. Each year the staff along with the help of our residential clients complete a yard clean up along with any projects that are better suited for many hands.

This year the staff as well as any client's willing to participate we able to assemble 2 new picninc tables, distribute 10 yards of dirt in order to level the lawn, filled in the horse shoe pits with sands, planted flower boxes on the front porch, weeded all of the landscaped areas on the property, put down fresh mulch in the landscaped area facing Carpenter rd, reinforced an older swing set that is on the property in order to have it ready for a new swing and last but not least a new playscape was assembled that will provide children visiting on family day with some outdoor activity.

After a hard days work the staff and client's enjoyed a wonderful potluck lunch provided by the staff they also grilled steak and chicken.

Ten Sixteen Recovery Network would like to thank Lowes Home Improvement for their assistance with the purchase of the new playscape as well as Pat's Gradall Service Inc for the speedy delivery of dirt.
